Health Care

Health is the core thrust area and the mainstay of Sukarya efforts. We believe in the inalienable human right to primary health care. This right is being promoted by ensuring access to basic health care to the unserved, underserved and marginalized communities, who have hitherto been left without access to any health care system. The primary health care services rendered by Sukarya include comprehensive medical preventive, curative and allied support services.

The explicit focus of all our health interventions is on the most vulnerable sections of population including women, children and adolescents. The health concerns of women and children therefore find a greater space in our programmatic intervention. Mother and child health care, reproductive rights of women, encouraging institutional delivery are some of the important areas that we focus upon through our health interventions.
