Relief Operation for Gujrat Earthquake in 2001
The earthquake in Gujrat ruined a number of lives in a few seconds. During the relief operations for earthquake victims in Gujrat though hundreds of organizations from all over the world had come forward to help out the victims there were yet many areas still left unattended. Khodu village of Surinder Nagar district was one such place. Sukarya helped in running of the primary and secondary school normally by providing tents for establishing classrooms and principal’s office etc. Our team visited Gujrat thrice to help out people in their time of need.
